Like you i too was googling around before investing my money on this Phone, I will try my best to make up your mind. There are many Phones around this Budget i.e 10,000Rs.

Rumors that are around about Xiaomi Note 4G

• Camera is bad
• Frequent call drops
• Bulky and feels Cheap

About the Camera, I have uploaded pics taken from my Note 4G and you can speculate and judge them. The trick to have good Photos is to have the quality settings changed from Standard which is a default value to High and then you will see better quality. Also do not have flash on for all time, use it on Auto mode only when low light conditions are there otherwise keep it Off.

Next about call quality, the sound is very loud & you can even hear it from some distance it is very clear. I have noticed not one call drop without a valid reason (if the network coverage on my previous Samsung with the same SIM card gave no reception at a particular location this phone also gives the same reception it does not have any problems).

If you may hear a scratch sound while talking over the phone this is due to screen lock sound which can be turned off in settings.

Build quality is not very premium but no micromax or karbon user will deny after holding this phone that this phone is very well built which fits on one hand nicely and feels very rigid and not bulky.

So, you may now make your decision while I enjoy my exploration of this device.

Summarized Review

Pros :

1. Fits in budget.

2. RAM is 2Gb, Multitasking is breeze.

3. Qualcom A7 and battery 3100mAh easily lasts one entire day with playing games watching videos over 3G or WiFi. The battery is very good.

4. Miui has best features you won't get elsewhere pre-installed like firewall, notification filter, battery modes.( These features will make you 100% Xiaomi or MI addict, I am already ). You don't need to root your device and make your warranty void because features like firewall that restricts apps from using mobile data or WiFi come pre-installed with all Xiaomi phones.

5. Any bloatware if present can be uninstalled very easily.

6. You can hardly see this device overheating.

7. Plays all latest games with ease.

8. 3100mAh battery charges from 0->100 in 3Hrs.(only with its own charger, do not try any other)

Few Con's:

1. No hot swapable Memory card slot.

2. No video calling feature.(I don't know why people complain about this when you have Skype and Viber)

3. No English software suite( you will not need it anyways).

4. Speaker volume is not very loud.

5. Internal is 8Gb. Hoped it had 16Gb:(

Verdict: Worth every rupee.
